Online Therapy for Women in California to Ease Anxiety,
Heal Trauma,
& Build Self-Worth

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Online therapy in San Diego and throughout California, blending talk therapy with body-based and nervous system-informed approaches like EMDR—so you can reconnect with your needs, boundaries, and sense of self, to move through anxiety, self-doubt, and people-pleasing with more clarity and ease.

My approach is rooted in connection and grounded in nervous system care

I hold therapy as a sacred space—one that blends relational warmth with somatic awareness. I offer a trauma-informed, body-based approach to help you heal at the pace your nervous system can truly hold.

Hi there, I’m Maggie

If you’re a high-achieving woman who’s exhausted by people-pleasing, perfectionism, or carrying everyone else’s weight…I provide trauma-informed somatic therapy and EMDR online in San Diego and throughout California so you can regulate your nervous system, set boundaries, and reclaim your sense of self.

You want someone who can hold space for the hard stuff without rushing you—someone who sees your strength and your sensitivity. I’ll bring care, clarity, and curiosity to our work together, so you can reconnect with yourself and move through life with more ease.

In our work together, you’ll learn to express your needs, set kind boundaries (navigate the post-boundary guilt that loves to pop in uninvited), build a secure, grounded relationship with yourself and others. Whether you're moving through anxiety, attachment wounds, complex trauma, depression, or life transitions, we’ll explore the deeper roots of what’s keeping you stuck — while honoring the cultural, relational, and systemic forces that may also be shaping your experience.

Why This Matters

So many women find themselves carrying the weight of anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and old attachment wounds without realizing how much it’s impacting their everyday life. These patterns often begin in childhood or within high-pressure family systems, where being “the responsible one” or “the emotional anchor” felt necessary for survival. Over time, the nervous system adapts—staying alert, staying small, staying agreeable—to keep the peace.

Therapy offers a place to gently unwind these long-held patterns with support rather than self-criticism. Through a blend of EMDR, somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based work, we’ll help your body feel safer, your inner critic soften, and your sense of self strengthen. You don’t have to keep operating in survival mode. Healing is entirely possible, and it starts with creating space to understand your story in a new way.

Services
Our sessions have had such a positive impact. You’ve helped me navigate everything from work stress to family dynamics with more calm and clarity. I feel more grounded and better able to meet challenges—and most importantly, safe to show up as I am.
